Garlic scapes

Sweet, tender, mild garlic taste. Don't miss it - June only! Great cooked in omelets or chopped as a topping on salads, soups, pizzas and pasta dishes. The scape is the immature garlic flower. It must be removed for the bulb to enlarge, and adds a most welcomed freshness to the early summer.

Not so pretty - Part of our garlic were attacked by leaf miner pests. The taste is unaffected, but these scapes have some bite marks! Small price
