Also known as "mustard spinach", komatsuna is a leaf vegetable of the cabbage/broccoli family. It resembles spinach with a broccoli-like taste and it is thick and crunchy. If you know Tatsoi, it is similar but less fibrous. Can be eaten raw or cooked. Pairs well with mushrooms!
